Description

Dogfennel is a short-lived perennial with an erect growth habit that most often occurs in plant beds but can occasionally be found in mowed lawns. It has deeply dissected leaves that almost appear hair-like in their fine texture. Dogfennel exudes a strongly aromatic smell when crushed or mowed that makes it easy to identify.
