Description

Khakiweed is a prostrate weed that forms a thick taproot, has oppositely arranged leaves on hairy stems and characteristic spiny flowers. It is closely related and very similar in appearance to smooth chaff-flower (Alternanthera paronychiodes St. Hill.)
